Biographie
Anika Lokker obtained her Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry in 2020, from the University of Amsterdam. Her master thesis is entilled: "Comparing different photofading degradation techniques for early synthetic dyes". The subject of research was to compare light degradation of early synthetic dyes on a substrate (silk) and in water and with two different light sources (a xenon lamp and a UV lamp). This research ultimately led to a plublished article (den Uijl et al. 2022). After graduation she worked a few months in the industry before starting her PhD in 2021 under the co-supervision of Dr. Jean-François Focant and Dr. Veerle Rots.
